Helping Military Vets Find a Rewarding Career in Construction

Helmets to Hardhats is a national program that connects National Guard, Reserve and transitioning active-duty military members with quality career training and employment opportunities within the construction industry. The program is administered by the Center for Military Recruitment, Assessment, and Veterans Employment in Washington, D.C. Candidates can access information about careers and apprenticeships via the Internet from anywhere in the world.
Most candidates will enter a building trades apprenticeship program. The pay they receive as an apprentice from an employer can be supplemented by education benefits under the G.I. Bill.
