TCI presented the 2009 Pride in Construction Project of the Year Award to Parsons for successful completion of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Facility in Fort Devens, Massachusetts. The Volpe-Eagan Safety Awards were presented to Pat McDermott, Safety Director of the Iron Workers District Council of New England Labor Management Cooperation Trust, and Garrett Burke, the Associate Director of Occupational Safety and Construction Services at Harvard University. Construction Industry Leadership Summit Reveals Top Challenges and Opportunities for Union Construction in Massachusetts

On October 21, 2009, The Construction Institute convened the first of its kind Construction Industry Leadership Summit for 65 owners and end users of construction services, labor leaders, contractors, and other construction industry stakeholders, who brainstormed how we can better position union construction in the Massachusetts market.
