TCI is hosting this social media seminar to help building trade unions and contractors sort through the different social networks: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, and others, to develop an effective social media plan.
Register now for TCI’s Social Media Boot Camp 101 Seminar on Thursday, February 16, 2012, from 12 pm - 4 pm at Lantana in Randolph. This two-part seminar will help you develop a social media plan. Part One will feature a panel of professionals with real world experience in using social media in the construction industry followed by a question and answer period. Part 2 will offer hands-on instruction in using social media tools. Please bring your laptop, Ipad or smartphone.
Professor Carol Yelverton , who teaches Social Media at Emerson College and Middlesex Community College, will be the keynote speaker. Other panelists include Joseph Manning, Marketing & IT Consultant at Act Big Consulting, LLC.; Matthew Lash, Asst. Executive Manager, NECA-Greater Boston Chapter; Tom Palange, Marketing Coordinator, J.C. Cannistraro, LLC and Steve Dondley, Prometheus Labor Communications Inc.
The seminar is hosted by The Construction Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting high quality construction and a skilled construction workforce.
