Requests for Proposals are issued on a periodic basis on topics identifed by the TCI Board of Directors. The total budget, including any indirect cost recovery to the institution, may not exceed $30,000. Exceptions may be made for very strong research proposals in which case awards may be made up to $50,000. Indirect costs cannot exceed 10%. Funding may not cover equipment purchases or other capital expenditures.
Selected projects will be completed one year from the start date, or as otherwise determined by research time necessary to produce a useful product. Grant recipients will be expected to present their final work to the TCI Board of Directors. Research papers will be published and disseminated in TCI publications and on its website at the discretion of TCI.
